You should be completing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, Business Science or related fields – such as Investments, Finance or Economics. Your grade point average should be 70% or higher.
The Accelerate Internship is aimed at high‑performing, independent‑minded final‑year students who are ready to start full‑time work in 2027 and eligible to work in South Africa.
The Accelerate agenda includes a structured blend of training, role shadowing, team challenges and access to our people and culture. The intensive programme includes networking events, orientation and skills building sessions, engagement with leadership, and an assortment of challenges that test your critical thinking, mirror real-life scenarios and require analytical problem-solving.
Yes. If you are selected to be an Accelerate intern and you live more than 100 kilometres outside Cape Town, you qualify for relocation support. Travel and accommodation arrangements will be made to ensure that you can attend the full four-day internship at our office in Cape Town. We will provide more information on how this works during the onboarding process.
While permanent placement is not guaranteed, Allan Gray Accelerate offers interaction with teams that form part of our primary full‑time pathways for graduates, including investment service and operations consultant positions, which open at intervals throughout the year.
